Today sees the debut of Robin Hood on MGM+, offering a fresh take on the Sherwood legend with themes of justice, rebellion and romance. The show launched with its first two episodes on November 2, 2025.

Featuring Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Connie Nielsen as Eleanor of Aquitaine, the production leans into medieval visuals and modern relevance as it reinvents the hero who stole from the rich to give to the poor.

How to watch and episode schedule

The series is available on MGM+ and via the MGM+ add-on on Amazon Prime Video in Brazil and other regions. The official premiere happened on November 2, 2025, and new episodes will be released weekly until the season ends.

What makes this version stand out

Unlike many previous adaptations, this iteration of Robin Hood delves into the Norman invasion’s backdrop and expands the hero’s origin story, his rebel band and Marian’s role. The production earned praise for its sets and costumes, though some reviews pointed to pacing inconsistencies in certain episodes.
