Predator: Badlands releases new clip ahead of its premiere
The hunt begins in a tense new video
20th Century Studios has unveiled a brand-new clip from Predator: Badlands, the latest entry in the iconic Predator franchise, set to premiere on November 7, 2025. The footage features an intense chase sequence through the desert, highlighting the brutality and suspenseful tone that define the film.
The clip shows the protagonist, played by Boyd Holbrook, attempting to escape a camouflaged creature lurking among the dunes. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for Predator: Prey, the film promises a return to survival horror and the tension of the originals, blending action and mystery in equal measure.
A return to the franchise’s roots
Badlands aims to recapture the spirit of the early Predator films, focusing on suspense and isolation. Set in the deserts of New Mexico, the movie explores themes of survival, hunting and primal fear. According to the director, the goal was to create “the scariest Predator since the 1987 original".
Expectations for the premiere
Early fan reactions have been positive, praising the darker tone and more restrained storytelling. Predator: Badlands hits theaters on November 7, promising to be one of the most intense action-horror films of the year.
